Bennett and Gaga performed a total of 13 songs from the album, including the number one singles on Billboard's Jazz chart "Anything Goes" and "I Can't Give You Anything but Love". Before the concert was aired, a number of promotional videos from the show were released. Additionally, PBS announced that the concert was filmed in 4K resolution. On January 20, 2015, the DVD and Blu-ray was released, and later for digital download on iTunes Store. It reached the top-ten of the record charts in many countries, reaching number one in the US and Belgium. Bennett and Gaga partnered with LG Electronic, who aired the concert across all retail chains in the United States, on LG's 4K Ultra High-definition TV screens. Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga: Cheek to Cheek Live! became the first concert to be streamed in 4K resolution. The show received positive reviews, with critics praising Gaga and Bennett's vocals and their camaraderie on stage.

PBS later announced that the concert was filmed in 4K resolution and was recorded for a 73-minute DVD, which customers from Amazon Video would be able to stream firstly.[30] On January 20, 2015, the DVD and Blu-ray was released, being released later for digital download on iTunes Store.[31][32] The DVD and Blu-ray editions include additional songs originally not aired on television including, "They All Laughed", "Lady's In Love With You", "Goody Goody", "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered", "Don't Wait Too Long" and "Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye".[33] The DVD charted at number four on the Australian DVD Chart and number one in the US.[34][35] It also charted on top 10 in many countries, including UK and France.[36][37] On October 1, 2021, an audio CD containing the performances from the special was released as part of the deluxe edition of Bennett and Gaga's second collaborative album, Love for Sale.[38] It will also be released separately in vinyl format as a Record Store Day exclusive on November 25, 2022.[39]

Hunter (who has an impressive three screen credits; besides her starring role, she played all of the piano pieces and served as sign language teacher for Paquin) gives a majestic silent performance as Ada McGrath, the mute Scotswoman and talented pianist who arrives with her strong-willed young daughter Flora (Paquin) in the New Zealand wilderness.

The next DVD copying protection, CPRM/CPPM, short for Content Protection for Recordable Media or Pre-Recorded Media, stands for a mechanism employed for restricting the copying, moving and deletion of digital media on a host device, such as a personal laptop, or DVD player. Find a DVD copywrite remover to eliminate it. And if you also want to decrypt recorded 4k blu-ray, there is also a program recommended.

Here comes the 1st step to remove DVD copy protection with Handbrake: install Handbrake. You could go to its official website to make DVD copy protection removal software free download of the right version matching with your system.

As for the physical and download mechanical royalty of 9.1 cents, the CRB left this untouched in the most recent proceedings. The physical and download royalty rates remains the same as it was when the CRB raised it from 8.5 cents, to 9.1 cents in 2006.

I had never owned the entire Kempff cycle from the mid 60s, just a few LPs, but I had forgotten how elegant and humane his playing was. I have listened only to the high-resolution Blu-ray Disc and found the sound as fresh and immediate as the day it was recorded. The sound is better than I ever remembered; DG's crisp sound was always perfectly suited to Kempff's pianistic style. The high-resolution remastering was done by MSM Studios, Munich and I could not recommend this beautiful package more enthusiastically. The CDs will remain in the bottom of the box.

Can anyone confirm if the Universal Japan SACDs of the piano sonatas are new remasterings? The pages for the other Kempff releases on the Universal Japan site and on various retailer web sites include a statement that each release is a new DSD remaster by Emil Berliner Studies. But this statement is absent from the pages for the Beethoven piano sonata sets. This leads me to wonder if the SACDs are based on the same 24/96 PCM master used for the blu-ray set and the download.

Volume 1 of the new SACD set is on it's way to me. I'll have a close look to the booklet. I also want to do some comparative listening (SACD vs. BluRay/download) - if there IS a different remastering.

Volume 1 with 3 SHM-SACDs containing sonatas 1-15 arrived me today.1.) Remastering: Indeed a new genuine EBS-remastering from Oct. 2019 - according to the booklet.2.) Comparative listening between BluRay/download = remastered by MSM and SACD = remastered by EBS: tape hiss is especially in quieter tracks an issue. The overall sound of MSM appears to me a bit polished with emphasized trebles whereas the sound of EBS seems more full-bodied with a bit more depth. MSM appears a bit more glaring in louder passages than EBS.

Well, Chew Chiat Naun, you're obviously in love with Kempff's Beethoven and so I can really recommend the SACD sets to you. About the tape hiss: because of the treble-pronounced sound on MSM-BluRay/download the tape hiss appears also a bit more emphasized in the upper frequencies, which is a bit annoying (to me). Band noise on the EBS-SACDs is more subtle. This and the overall sound impression makes the SACDs in my opinion to a better (albeit more expensive) choice.

Universal Japan continues with Beethoven - and DG recordings: in February 2020 the string quartets with Amadeus Quartet will be released on two 3-SACD volumes. New remastered by Emil Berliner Studios. So we'll have again two different new remasterings of one and the same recording, because the quartets are already available on BluRay/download - remastered by MSM Studios Munich. 350c69d7ab
